Revit mở và ghi trực tiếp file .rvt trên ổ đĩa mạng chia sẻ. Mỗi khi bấm Save to Central, toàn bộ file vật lý dung lượng hàng trăm MB sẽ truyền qua đường truyền mạng. Môi trường LAN chạy tốt, nhưng trên VPN thì đường truyền rất chập chờn, dẫn đến nguy cơ cực kỳ cao bị hỏng (corrupted) file Central khi rớt mạng giữa chừng.
Revit directly opens and writes the .rvt file on a shared network drive. Every time Save to Central is clicked, the entire physical file (hundreds of MBs) is transmitted. While LAN works well, VPN connections are unstable, leading to an extremely high risk of a corrupted Central file if the connection drops midway.

Vận hành hoàn toàn trên Đám mây công cộng của Autodesk (Server Mỹ/Singapore) thông qua nền tảng Cloud APIs & Desktop Connector. Người dùng đồng bộ dữ liệu Delta trực tiếp lên mây. Dữ liệu được lưu trữ tại Server hãng, yêu cầu kết nối Internet quốc tế ổn định và mua phí bản quyền theo số lượng user hàng năm.
Operates entirely on Autodesk's public cloud (US/Singapore Servers) via Cloud APIs & Desktop Connector. Users sync Delta data directly to the cloud. Data is stored on Autodesk servers, requiring a stable international Internet connection and annual per-user licensing fees.

Chạy như một dịch vụ Web (IIS WCF Protocol). Máy chủ quản lý luồng nhận dữ liệu thông minh qua API. Khi người dùng bấm Save to Central, chỉ có dữ liệu thay đổi (delta) được gửi đi. Ngắt mạng giữa chừng không bao giờ làm hỏng file gốc. Đảm bảo tốc độ đồng bộ tức thì qua WAN/VPN.
Runs as a Web service (IIS WCF Protocol). The server manages intelligent data streams via API. When users click Save to Central, only changed data (delta) is sent. A dropped connection will never corrupt the original file. Ensures instantaneous sync speeds over WAN/VPN.
